Tubs of Fun! Diy Bath Crayons

Yea, I know. . .lame pun 😏

If your NinjaBaby is like mine bath time can be a fun filled disaster! With giggles and bubbles, soaked floors and rubber duckies. Yes, lots of fun for NinjaBaby, total mess for mom.

So, after watching an episode of “Creative Galaxy”, on Amazon Prime, about creating art during bath time. A fun solution presented itself. . . Bath Crayons! And lo and behold they’re so easy to make!

Here’s what you’ll need to make 3-6 tub crayons:

• 3 bars of plain white soap (I used Ivory)

• food coloring

• cheese grater

• parchment paper

• 3 bowls

• forks

• hot water

• cookie cutters *optional

Step 1: Grate one bar of soap into a separate bowl (if making more than 3 crayons these can be halved later)

Step 2: Pour 1/4 cup hot water into each bowl and mash with fork

Step 3: Add 3-6 drops of food coloring, start with primary colors (i.e. Blue, red, yellow). If making other colors halve each primary bowl once mixed (put aside on parchment paper), then add additional coloring to bowl and mix

Step 4: with hands or fork make sure the food coloring is worked into the soap. You can roll it into crayon shapes or roll it out and use cookie cutters

Step 5: put in freezer for 15-30 min to harden

Come bathtime your ninjababy will be enjoying their new creative toy!
